Our HLA matching looks at Human Leukocyte Antigen genes, which are part of immune-system signaling. Published studies suggest HLA variation can correlate with scent preference and mate choice, so DNA Romance treats HLA as one compatibility signal alongside personality and self-reported preferences.
Is my DNA data safe and private?

Yes, absolutely. Your genetic data is encrypted and stored securely. We only analyse the specific genes related to compatibility and never share your data with third parties. You own your data and can delete it at any time.
How accurate is personality matching?

Our personality matching is based on established psychological frameworks including MBTI personality types. While no system is perfect, personality compatibility has been shown to be a strong predictor of relationship satisfaction when combined with physical attraction and shared values.
What DNA testing services do you accept?

We accept raw DNA data from most major testing services including 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA, and many others. Download your raw DNA file from your testing service and upload it to DNA Romance.

No. While DNA compatibility provides additional insights, you can use DNA Romance with personality matching. Many users start with personality matching and add DNA data later when they are ready.
How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings page. Once cancelled, you'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the profile settings page. When you delete your account, all your personal data including any uploaded DNA data will be permanently removed from our servers.
